It is designed for controlled plate handling in engineering, fabrication, construction and other industrial material-handling work. Use this vertical plate clamp only as part of a suitable lifting arrangement and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
Select the GT Viper model by working load limit (W.L.L.) and jaw opening, ensuring both suit the plate and the complete lifting arrangement. Current capacity options are 500 kg with a 0–15 mm jaw opening; 1,000 kg or 2,000 kg with 0–220 mm; 3,000 kg or 5,000 kg with 0–320 mm; 8,000 kg with 0–45 mm; and 12,000 kg with 50–90 mm. Weights range from 2 kg to 65 kg. Do not exceed the marked W.L.L. or choose a clamp from capacity or jaw range alone. The UK-origin GT Viper CD is listed with UKCA/CE marking where required and certification, which should be checked with the product instructions before use.
