Our wheelie bin handlers offers a quick, simple and safe method of lifting and emptying large wheelie bins. Available in two models: one to suit 90-240 litre wheelie bins, the most popular sizes of wheelie bins, and the second to suit 660-1100 litre wheelie bins with side trunnions. The wheelie bin handler is simply fitted to the forklift truck forks, and with the aid of a manual winch mechanism, allows the wheelie bins to be picked up and emptied without the need for manual handling, thus reducing risk of injury whilst improving health and safety on site.
The regular wheelie bin handler simply picks up the wheelie bin via the bins handle, and by means of a pull cord attached to the wheel and the other end fed through the winch, the wheelie bin pivots forward allowing the lid to open once the forklift mast is raised and the winch mechanism is operated. The larger wheelie bin tipper features specially designed lifting slots, which lift up the wheelie bins via the side trunnions. With no moving parts, wires or pulleys, the wheelie bin is simply positioned against the side of the waste receptacle, and with forward motion applied, the bin rotates to the required angle allowing for the wheelie bin contents to be emptied.
