Forklift Crane Jibs
Safety is paramount, with locking mechanisms and load indicators ensuring secure operations. Perfect for warehouses, construction sites and manufacturing facilities, our jib extenders streamline heavy load transport, boosting productivity and eliminating the need for extra equipment. An important consideration when choosing a forklift jib or hook is to make sure it’s the right choice for your forklift. Your forklift manual will tell you what attachments are safe to use on your model. At the same time, check what the forklift is rated to lift in general as well as its maximum lifting capacity.
Forklift jibs are rated for their maximum load capacity. The lifting capacity of the forklift jib is based on the forklift truck’s own capacity, therefore ensuring the lifting jib can be operated risk free within the safety limits of the forklift itself. A further advantage of forklift jib and hook attachments is how easy they are to use. Most are easily attached to the forklift trucks by inserting the forks in to the attachment’s fork pockets. Some jibs attach on to the fork in a different way using a safety chain that can wrap around the strongest part of the forklift’s carriage for additional support when lifting heavy loads.
At Lifting365, we are proud to supply a wide range of forklift attachments. These include both low-profile and raised jibs, and forklift jib raised extenders. We also sell adjustable forklift hooks, which are an extremely cost-effective attachment for your forklift. Our forklift jibs and hooks are available in a range of capacities, and like all our forklift attachments, they come fully tested and certified.
