We stock a full range of galvanised and stainless steel chains for lifting pumps in the water and sewage industries. These are assembled, welded and tested at UK Cradley manufacturing site and proof-loaded to 2.5 x W.L.L., with a factor of safety of 4:1. As with all our products, our pump lifting chains are fully certified, so you can be sure that your chain is high quality, durable and safe according to its specifications. Our Grade 40 galvanised pump chain lifting equipment are ideal for lifting and lowering pumps and aeration devices for water and sewage. Available in capacities of 300kg, 500kg and 1,000kg, each chain is fitted with index lifting points at each end and at 1 metre centres. The chains are also embossed with manufacturers’ mark and batch number every 12 links or 1-metre intervals, whichever is the lesser. In addition, every enlarged link is embossed with the manufacturing batch number. There is also full traceability for all components using in manufacturing. We can also supply chains with higher capacity; simply contact our customer service team for more details. For more challenging environments or according to your device’s specifications or your own preferences, we also stock a range of Grade 50, 316L stainless steel pump lifting chains for lifting and lowering pumps and aeration devices. As with our galvanised versions, the stainless steel pump lifting chains are fitted with index lifting points at each end and at 1-metre centres. Each chain is assembled, welded and tested, and is manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel to EN 10088 / EN 10027-2 / 1.4404 (Marine Grade 316L). The chains are also equipped as standard with a SWL Tag (Safe Working Load) and certificate that meet local and national safety regulations. Our stainless steel pump lifting chains are available in capacities of 500kg, 1,000kg and 2,000kg, with higher capacities available through special order. To complement our range of lifting pump chains, we also stock a range of shackles, which can be used in a variety of environments, including the industrial, construction and marine industries. Unlike many shackles on the market, many of which are poorly made and low quality, our shackles are carefully made using the best materials and processes. All our shackles comply completely with BS 3032: 1958, including correct material specification and heat treatment. We stock both galvanised and stainless steel shackles with capacities of 1 ton, 1.5 ton and 2 ton.
