The magnetic sweeper is also popular with horse owners for removing nails and other metal objects from bedding and courtyards, thus reducing the risk of foot injuries to the horses. This handy tool features a high-quality stainless steel construction and large rubber wheels with puncture proof tyres. In addition, the handle of the magnet can be removed to aid transportation. A simple release mechanism in the handle releases and drops the metal debris when finished. For heavier objects, we stock TPM magnets by Yale, which are ideal for the easy, quick and thus economical transport of heavy objects made of ferro-magnetic material. Typical operating areas are workshops and warehouses, loading and unloading of machines, and the construction of jigs and fixtures. The magnet is a compact design, making it suitable for a large number of applications. The load is also not affected mechanically, which allows lifting of flat as well as round material. The magnets are activated /deactivated easily by turning a locking lever. In activated mode, the hand lever is safely locked, preventing unintended demagnetising. We also stock Tigrip THM Manual Hand / Claw Magnet for transporting steel sheets horizontally and vertically, lifting plates from racks, pulling steel sheets out of shelving, as well as transporting flat pieces of magnetisable steel. Choose from two options: THM120 (120kg capacity) or THM170 (170kg capacity). The clamp, depending on the type, can be used for plate thicknesses from 1 to 5 mm. Pressing down on the handle activates a cam, which releases the magnetic claw from the work piece.
