Load Moving Skates

The advantage of using moving skates is that they are simply to use and require little or no training to use successfully. As long as load capacities are adhered to, skates are a safe and reliable way to transport loads. Available in capacities from 1 ton to 6 ton, our Yale Fixed Wheeled Moving Skates are a budget-friendly model with components that can be universally combined. These are ideal for the transportation of medium heavy loads of all kinds. The model features solid forged steel construction, anti-slip rubber lining and abrasion-resistant nylon wheels.

For heavier loads we supply the acclaimed Steerman range of load moving systems. The LX range, in capacities of 6 ton and 12 ton, features a three-point loading system comprising of a steerable front and a pair of adjustable rear skates. The front and rear skates can accept 50% of the total capacity each. The wheels are made of hardwearing nylon, and each system is supplied ready to use.

If you need to transport even heavier loads frequently, the Steerman SX and S ranges are the perfect choice. These universal heavy load moving systems have been designed for the safe and cost saving transport of loads up to 100 ton. Individual configuration of steering and rear skates also allows higher capacities. Transport of heavy loads (e.g. machines, construction parts, steel structures) is normally made with a stable three-point loading system, while transport of extremely bulky or heavy loads with an unfavourable centre of balance may also be executed with a four-point loading system.

The skates are powder-coated and all connecting elements are corrosion-resistant.
