The GT Viper Adjustable Standard Beam Clamp is a heavy-duty beam clamp for securing lifting equipment to suitable beams. It provides a secure grip through simple mounting and an adjustable design that fits a wide range of flange widths and beam profiles. Its special jaw design applies the load away from the flange edge, helping to reduce flange stress during use. Capacity options are 1 t, 2 t, 3 t, 5 t and 10 t, with jaw opening ranges of 75β220 mm, 75β220 mm, 80β320 mm, 80β320 mm and 90β320 mm respectively.
Before use, select a clamp with a working load limit (W.L.L.) suitable for the complete lifting arrangement and the beam being used. Do not assume suitability from the adjustable range alone. The matt black clamp meets the W.L.L. performance requirements of BS EN 13155, has a minimum breaking load of four times the W.L.L. and is marked in accordance with BS EN 13155. Follow the relevant lifting-equipment instructions and site procedures before use.
