GT Weld On Hooks are 35CrMo alloy-steel weld-on lifting points designed for permanent attachment to equipment such as trucks, excavators, low loaders and spreader beams. Finished in red, each hook is marked with its working load limit (WLL), material grade, manufacturer’s identification and a traceability code. These hooks provide a clearly identified lifting or load-securing attachment point where a welded connection is appropriate.
Select the hook by the required WLL and model, with capacities available from 1,000kg to 10,000kg; the applied load must remain within the marked WLL. Welding must be completed by a suitably competent person in accordance with BS EN 287-1, and the GT Lifting safety instructions must be consulted for welding requirements, installation guidance and safe use. Suitability depends on the supporting structure, weld design and intended application, so these must be assessed before installation. -
