Select the BCU by its working load limit (W.L.L.) and jaw opening: 3,000 kg with a 125–204 mm jaw opening, or 5,000 kg and 10,000 kg with a 125–305 mm jaw opening. The clamp range weighs 12.5–24.5 kg. The jaw opening must suit the beam flange, and the beam and complete lifting arrangement must be suitable for the intended load; capacity alone is not enough and the marked W.L.L. must not be exceeded. The UK-origin GT Viper BCU is listed with UKCA / CE marking where required and certification, which should be checked in the supplied documentation before use.
