Yale products are also designed with the end user in mind – each product is easy to use with the minimum of training. Push trolleys are some of the most popular products in this range. These are designed to operate manually and horizontally on a flat or tapered beam using a bottom flange and a set of wheels. Ideal for lighter loads, these will support a chain block with a top hook or lug mounted suspension. For heavier loads, we also supply geared trolleys. Beam gear trolleys comprise a looped hand chain connected to a sprocket; this works the gears, which allow the wheels to move when the hand chain is pulled. The trolley will then move in the opposite direction.

Our range of beam geared trolleys from Yale are available in capacities up to 5,000kg, and are adjustable to fit a wide range of beam widths and profiles. A 2.5 metre hand chain drop is fitted as standard to this trolley to suit a lift of 3 metres. Longer lengths are also available on request. An integral part of our range is a selection of beam clamps, which provide a quick and versatile rigging point for hoisting equipment, pulley blocks or loads. Our entry-level beam clamp with shackle allows for the easy attachment of lifting equipment and is available in a range of capacities from 1,000kg up to 20,000kg.

Another option is our integral travel trolley beam clamp, which can be adjusted quickly to the beam width by turning the main spindle; safety is ensured by the special locking lever.
