The Green PinĀ® Standard Dee Shackle with Screw Collar Pin is a Grade 6 high-tensile steel lifting shackle for professional lifting and rigging applications. Its quenched and tempered body and pin provide a secure, detachable connection for compatible lifting equipment such as slings and chains, while the hot-dip galvanised finish helps protect the shackle in demanding working environments. Available in working load limit options from 0.33t to 55t, it should be selected by the required WLL, shackle size and the configuration of the complete lifting arrangement. The supplied specification states conformity to BS EN 13889 for sizes from 0.5t to 25t and performance requirements to US Federal Specification RR-C-271 Type IVA, Class 2, Grade A; sizes from 2t upwards comply with ASME B30.26.
The minimum breaking load is six times the marked WLL, with a specified operating temperature range of -40Ā°C to +200Ā°C. Never exceed the WLL or use the shackle outside its intended connection, size or operating conditions. For lifting equipment used at work in Great Britain, LOLER requirements for safe use, examination and inspection should be considered, while PUWER may apply to associated work equipment; neither regulation is a product certification. Full CAD support is available on request, and certificates including 2.1, 3.1, Declaration of Conformity and DNV GL 0378 are available where applicable, so check the documentation supplied for the selected size.
